CONTRACT
The contract will be between the client and the owners of La Tour de Genèbre and will be governed by French law. It will be entered into when the booking form has been received, the deposit has been processed and a letter/e-mail of confirmation has been issued by the owners of La Tour de Genèbre.

PAYMENT
A booking form will be issued when a verbal, written or email reservation is made.This must be completed and returned to La Tour de Genèbre within 7 days together with a deposit of 30% of the total booking value if this is made more than 2 calendar months prior to arrival.
The balance becomes payable 2 calendar months before the arrival date.If the balance is not received on or before the due date, we reserve the right to relet the property.
For bookings made less than 2 calendar months prior to the date of arrival the sum becomes payable in full at the time of booking.
Please note that the rental rate agreed at the time of booking forms part of the contract and will not be adjusted after the deposit has been paid.
Cancelled bookings will be subject to our cancellation policy.
Where credit card details have been given to secure a booking in lieu of a deposit and/or final payment the client will agree that any eventual cancellation fees may be charged to that card.

BREAKAGES & DAMAGES
The client is legally bound to reimburse La Tour de Genèbre for replacement, repair or extra costs incurred.

CARE OF THE PROPERTY
Guests must take all reasonable and proper care of the property and grounds and all fixtures & fittings. They must be left in the same state of repair and condition as at the beginning of the rental period.

Rentals will commence from 5.00pm on the day of arrival and will terminate at 10am on the day of departure unless agreed otherwise in advance.

NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE PROPERTY
The number of people occupying the property must not exceed the maximum capacity stated on the website and the number of occupants and their names must be disclosed on the booking form. We reserve the right to refuse entry to the entire party if this condition is breached.Use of the property & grounds by anyone not named on the booking form including day visitors is expressly forbidden without prior permission from La Tour de Genèbre and may result in an additional charge or the immediate termination of the contract.

COMPLAINTS
Any complaints which arise during the occupation of your cottage must be notified to the owners at the earliest opportunity to allow for rectification and in the case of a serious problem this must be confirmed in writing.

The owners of La Tour de Genèbre shall not be held liable for:
- any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the property, nor in respect of any equipment,plant,machinery or appliance in the property,gardens or swimming pool
- for any loss,damage,or injury resulting from adverse weather conditions,riot,war,strikes or any other matter outwith the control of the owners
-for any loss,damage or inconvenience caused or suffered by the client if the property should be destroyed or substantially damaged before commencement of or during the rental period and in any event the owners shall, within 7 days of notification to the client,refund all monies previously paid in repect of the rental period.

La Tour de Genèbre lies at the heart of a farming community and we cannot be held responsible nor liable for any activities carried out by other parties or the consequences thereof. Guests must ensure that they and their children keep within the boundaries of the land belonging to La Tour de Genèbre at all times.
